remember the view of the cutty sark sign above northern blvd and the blinking neon sign of the serval zipper factory to the left of the batters eye?
thats why i loved shea because it was not enclosed…until that ugly diamond vision board was added.
i was there. dark and cold.
i do not remember any warm home openers. it was always freezing.

loved to see the 18 wheel nbc trucks pull into shea on a thursday to run the cables into the stadium
