Found this while walking the beat. I’m not the one selling it, but figured worth sharing with y’all.

What Mets fans talk about when not talking about the actual games.

instead of taking shea down piece by piece, they should have implodded it.
that way citi field would have fell down with it.
then the mets share yankee stadium for a few years (after all we let them “crash” in our house in ’74 and ’75).
meanwhile they build a exact replica of shea, right down to the orange and blue squares
This must be what a Phillies fan snuff film looks like.
Amazing footage of what???….my heart torn out. To see a building I loved, a building so part of my youth, so part of my children’s lives torn down in an hour video would just be too painful.
I know it sounds silly but Met fans understand. I went to the second game ever played at Shea and the last game, and many, many in between.
Imposion would of been the painless route but I think I read somewhere that you can’t implode in NYC (unless you are the 2007 Mets)
hello frank.could not have said it better.
shea was a part of my youth too.
my little league field was across the free way.
