Now here’s a great Mets cap all can agree on (Treaty of Flushing)

Remember how I was saying the blog is pretty close to being able to write itself?

Hey Shannon,

As a Fitted (Baseball Cap) addict and an avid Mets fan I am always checking out your site and praying that the Mets do the right thing and revise and redo their colors to the original look of the 60s. I think that I have found the “Holy Grail” of Mets fitteds!!!

Please check out this link http://www.ecapcity.com/review/product/list/id/15080/category/8/

Its what the Mets should be wearing….No electric Blue! No Black of course! & True to the original look!

Please “promote” this one at the “Treaty of Flushing” when you meet up with the Wilpons!

Sincerely,

ElPrimo181

Now that’s a cap. Note the blue button. The navy can mesh well with whatever you think your dopey hybrid cap matches with. No black. No brainer.

  1. i have the original. no MLB logo on the back, green underbill, blue button on top. it’s one sexy hat that i break out with my ’80s throwbacks

  2. What do you think of the black and orange NY caps that resemble the old New York Giants cap? I’d be interested in buying one that looked like that.

  3. If not for the fact that 5150s fit me like crap, I’d be all over that.

Also couldn’t help but notice what is essentially the old “Ice Cream Man” style is sold out. That there once was a time when we thought THAT was ugly really puts things into perspective.
