I didn’t see any of the negativity that was being tossed around on twitter Friday night today. The Mets didn’t let the loss Friday and the extra inning win last night shake their confidence for today’s game. Do I think the Mets are going to the World Series? No I don’t. Do I think the Mets are going to be as horrible as a lot of people are speculating? They could be. But you know what I just want them to play hard and be in games. All three games this weekend, I didn’t have that “bad” feeling that the Mets wouldn’t come back. Fine they lost Friday and Saturday they blew a lead they had but I still enjoyed the games.
I think a lot of fans right now are enjoying how the team started off this weekend. Now let us see how they do against the Phillies this week and maybe get a better feel for this team.
One more thing. Seems to be a lot more fundamental ball being played now too.
