THIS DATE IN METS HISTORY: National League baseball officially

Wow – 12,000? Really? My grandpa must have gone to town on that in the old Mets Police newsletter which he used to hand out in Times Square while standing on a milk crate.
NIESE IN APRIL: Is 1-2 with a 4.05 ERA (18 earned runs/40.0 innings) in seven career starts during the month…From April 19-April 30, 2010, a stretch of three games, he went 1-0 with a 1.00 ERA (two earned runs/18.0 innings)…Allowed 17 hits, no home runs and struck out 20.
SHAKY STARTS: Has allowed six earned runs in three of his last four starts dating to last season…However, he has not surrendered a home run over this stretch of games.

AT HOME: At Citi Field, Niese is 4-7 with a 4.46 ERA (55 earned/111.0 innings) in 20 games, all starts…Has surrendered 10 home runs at Citi Field over those starts
None of those numbers make me feel good.
