Here’s a crowd shot from @jeanderson3 (aka Jason) on Saturday which made @formerdirtdart say 25,000 black caps given out, yet plenty of BLUE visible
They did have a good crowd on Saturday – I haven’t had a chance to look up the # yet (very busy weekend) but I was there and it was the most crowded I’ve seen in (non-opening day) in a long time.
Friday: 35,948 (2d best draw of the season) I guess plastic cups draw
Saturday: 31,464 (7th best) Seinfeld has been off for a while
Sunday: 26,312 They drew 35,641 for Mother’s Day last year
Average for the weekend: 31,241
Yes, second best series draw of the season. Opening series averaged 35,976
Have to think better weather helped.
Should also note that Mother’s Day last year, Mets had a 9 game home winning streak going into the game.
