Great Mookie article in WSJ: Mookie a trucker?

The read of the day is in the WSJ…great stuff.  Mookie Wilson became a trucker for a while!  Anyone remember when he was a Maitre D (is that how that’s spelled?) in Woodside?

Plus he’s told the 1986 story 7000 times…

It’s so monotonous, it’s so redundant. I know I have to tell the story, and I know people I’m telling it to have already heard me tell the story. It never changes. I’m trapped.”

  1. Yeah Mookie was a maitre’d at the now defunct Joe’s Seafood on 60th street and Roosevelt ave. It is where Saints and Sinners is now
