This picture has every uniform the Mets need…bottom left is the road…middle is the home…bottom right is the best alt they ever had…maybe they can make it in a buton down. It was only worn on the road according to my memory and I have never seen a picture of the Mets wearing any blue jersey at Shea except in BP. The 1983-1984 road alt was not as nice IMO.
i know for me the black uniforms take something away from the enjoyment of Mets baseball. When the game gets going I forget about it, but I clearly enjoy a blue pinstripe win more than a black win. As far as a road win, I can only dream of a blue-capped win. That would be cool.

Another game wearing black, another game won.
