Anyway, Howie (who as we all know is the best sports broadcaster in the tri-state, Mike Emrick #2 and Chris Carrino of the Nets is #3) has this to say about his Bronx counterpart.
By comparison, Howie Rose, who broadcasts Mets games, is regarded as a less intrusive presence on the air than his friend Sterling. “John’s very comfortable in that layer of skin,” Rose says. “The minute you try to change, you come off as disingenuous.”
