Man Up: ‘Facebook Like’, Twitter Follow and Google+1

They say sometimes you just have to ask for what you want… so this is one of those selfish posts.  Regular content follows below on the main page.

T-Shirts are coming! Media Goon is working with Darren at The 7 Line to get some Man Up And Play Better tees rocking. If you are fearless you could even order one now (see the paypal on the right) but can’t blame you if you want to see what you’re buying.  We’ll have something to show you very soon.

You may have heard of this Facebook thing.  I need more friends.  Throw the Mets Police page a like. You’ll find a convenient “like” button at the bottom of this post.

Another powerful entity is Google.  They’ve created their own version of like which they call Google +1. Any time you feel like an article on here is groovy, click the +1 and give The Mets Police a big thumbs up.  Then Google will list us more and the system feeds itself and then I become a billionaire, buy the Mets and ditch the black jerseys. I’ll sign Reyes too if you want. Just get me the billion.

There’s also twitter!  I’m having lots of fun on there (especially during the in-game hangs) and am approaching 2000 followers and by approaching 2000 I mean I have like 1850.  If you’re not following well just click on the pretty birdy that says follow.

That’s it for now.  To review –

  • Like Mets Police on Facebook
  • +1 Mets Police.
  • Follow Mets Police on Twitter
  • Maybe buy a T-shirt next week.

In exchange, if I get a billion dollars I will try to buy the team, eliminate black from the uniforms and I’ll sign Reyes. Everyone wins.  See you in the owner’s box.

Oh and if you’re a blogger you’ll get season tickets if you link to this post in the next 24 hours (tickets only once I am majority owner of the New York Mets).

  1. Anyone else notice I Shannon said he would make a billion dollars and buy the team? I guess no cut for MG….Keeping an eye on this Shannon character.

      1. I failed to get the +1 thing to install on my site this morning. hah!

Wouldn’t +1’ing this particular post lead to Google throwing more random posts talking about +1 at me?
