I had tried to get up to Binghamton for this game but was unable to. I’ve been watching eBay ever since waiting for one to show up. The fact that it was Ruben Tejada’s jersey makes it even better.
You can’t see it in the picture, but the Starfleet insignia and the outline around “mets” are both in a very 60’s Star Trek silvery glittering fabric.
I don’t think I’d ever want the Mets to wear jerseys like these – but the minor leagues have a lot of leeway when it comes to what they wear
