Al Michaels and Bob Costas are doing the call on MLB Network’s telecast of Friday night’s Mets game.
Reports are that they’ll also do an inning on SNY (with GKR doing the national broadcast that inning) which should be fun and give me something to blog about for Saturday morning.
I would switch to the MLB broadcast for that night, but it’s blacked out in New York. They are two of the best broadcasters ever, and it would be a pleasure listening to them for that one inning when they switch over, unlike the time when the Mets/Yankees broadcasters switched one inning a few years ago. I’d rather go deaf than have to listen to John Sterling for any length of time.
