Seeing the piece on Mets Weekly a few weeks ago, many if not most Met players like the black tops the best. Why not a compromise…keep the black tops, but eliminate black from all other unis.
the mets players should not have black as an option. if they want to wear a dark jersey in the heat then the only choice should be a blue jersey. blue jerseys would a decent alternate .. I still just like the grays. anything black should be destroyed for next year. this black crap is ugly!
I’d like to get there, but it may have to be one step at a time. After 14 years are they going to just scrap all black? Right now every uni has the crappy black…my compromise could result in half being crap. Call them 50th anniversary jerseys.
