Not that it was real genius or anything, but I did replace the Mets script with a 50, which is the basis of the actual patch. I used numbers and fonts that meant something to the Mets past. The actual patch uses some generic fonts. I like the flowing banner used on the patch. The main thing that bugs me about it is the 50 is stretched vertically to allow for the banner and it looks off to me. While it looks nicer in patch form than it does on paper, I won’t be running out to buy one.
