Paul has some shots of the 2012 Topps collection…
I’m not crazy about the “surfboard” design Topps chose for this year, but it doesn’t really bother me. (Except for the players’ last names being printed in hard-to-read gold foil, that is.) I love the photography, though.
I’m partial to this one (because of the 1987 throwback design)
I also like that Paul has his Mazzy displayed in his page. (Paul won the 2011 Mets Police Blog of the Year Award).
love the 87 throwback… i have shoeboxes full of the originals 🙂
i have unopened packs! They were in a dollar store once so I got a box…opened many packs and left a few unopened for I dunno…Mets Police Grandson to post in 2087
Thanks for the link.
I didn’t really start collecting cards until 1988, but there were enough 1987 ones still around that I’ve got my own shoeboxes full of them. I love seeing the nostalgic design, but it makes me feel old if I think about it.
That one is perfect. I really started collecting in 1987 and one of my favorites is the Gary Carter All Star card, so having David Wright in the same style is awesome.
