Last night I attended the unveiling of the New York Mets 50th Anniversary All-Time Team at the 92nd Street Y. While my tickets were in the balcony, that gave me a great advantage when it came to taking pictures as a) I had a very good angle (most of the time), and b) I was able to hide the camera pretty well from the camera police.
I’ll hold my comments/thoughts for another post and just present the pics here (click on them for larger views)

Great event!! Thanks again, Dan!
Why would they have picture taking issues ? The Mets need as much good promo as they can get.
my guess is they were worried about flashes on tv
I’m guessing it was also to avoid the flashes constantly distracting (and annoying) the guys on stage. Plus it was an exclusive SNY event and they probably wanted to make sure as little got out as possible so as to ensure success for Thursday’s broadcast
