Mets Bark in the Park this Saturday

I am a big fan of the North Shore Animal League and have my third straight awesome dog from them, a stretch that goes back to 1981.

I wish I could make this one because Mets+dogs=awesome but too much going on.

The New York Mets will host Bark in the Park 2 to benefit North Shore Animal League America this Saturday, September 22 before the Mets play the Miami Marlins. Mets players will participate in a photo-op with puppies up for adoption before the game. Fans and their dogs will participate in a pre-game parade around the warning track and watch the game in the Pepsi Porch. Earlier this season during the first Bark in the Park, Mets pitchers Manny Acosta and Ramon Ramirez both adopted puppies.
