Hey Mets fans…you’ve probably seen lots of mentions about Hope Shines for Shannon on various blogs and twitter feeds, but one think I hope you noticed is that EVERYONE loves her.
Even if you have never met her, here’s some items that hopefully will intrigue you to support the cause…
Matt Harvey, Daniel Murphy, Willie Randolph, and Super Joe McEwing have been added to the special meet and greet line up that also includes Gooden, Strawberry, Franco, Ojeda, Alfonzo, Leiter, Ed Charles and Ed Kranepool. Tickets to the meet and greet cost $250.
The dinner will be emceed by Ron Darling and will feature more than 50 amazing sports related silent and live auction items. We have signed merchandise and/or experiences from the Mets, Yankees and many more MLB teams, the Jets, Giants, Knicks, Nets, Rangers and more. Plus, there’s an open bar and premium food, dancing and plenty of laughs. Tickets to the dinner cost $100.

Seriously, Shannon is awesome.
I can’t make the date (I have an old friend who lives overseas who I see once a year and that happens to be the date we are hanging) but Media Goon will be there as well several of the other Mets bloggers and superfans. So it should be a good hang and meal for $100.
And if you don’t care about us we understand but Ron Darling is no slouch, nor are the other names mentioned above.
