One think that was true about 2012 is that I was really busy. With that, a lot of emails got marked with a well-intentioned “POST THIS” note, but I never got around to it.
With the season over, it’s time to clear out all those lost posts.

Back in July Max sent me this.
The ‘Mets’ logo across the chest appears to be a different shade of blue compared to the rest of the doll, and at quick glance almost appears to be green! Also to be noted is the ‘NY’ insignia on the cap, which more resembles the old ‘NY’ on the former Mets skyline logo.
