Yesterday I shared David’s Danny Heep jersey and told you how we would take it to Stitches. Stitches is a sponsor of ours, and they do the jerseys for the Actual Mets. Good enough for the Actual Mets, good enough for the Mets Police and David is pleased as well.
Take a look for yourself! Stitches added the patch and did the front number. Nice, right?
So here’s what we learned.
Advertising on Mets Police works.
Stitches does good work.
Dave only knew about Stitches because of Mets Police.
Everyone wins.
If you’d like to advertise your business or service on MetsPolice.com drop me a note at [email protected]. $50 gets you one of those snazzy box-ads over on the right side.
‘Goon here- Russ over at Stitches told me to tell you guys to make sure you mention Metspolice or Me (media goon) so they give you guys a little bit of a break on pricing.
I also got a front number on my new Blue Alternate Dickey Jersey.(Replica). ERic and Ross are great guys and they do great work on your jerseys…
Seriously, if yo have a jersey and want a patch or work done go see these guys,
Stitches has some GREAT Mets gear — last season I bought a thick orange zip-up hoodie with NY on the back and Mets across the front — it’s awesome! I’ve also got a couple of other things (jacket and another hoodie) also from Stitches which I find is of better quality than Majestic, plus they’re reasonably priced. Hey, Danny Heep was a great replacement when Strawberry got hurt (was it in ’86 or ’88?? I forget!), but I remember what a focused, tough competitor he was and glad he was WITH us rather than playing AGAINST us.
@ KAthy In was 1985 when Heep played majority of RF when Straw tore a thumb ligament..
Just have to figure out what jersey to wear on opening day????
