I usually refer to these as unicorns since its the sort of thing that if you don’t get when it comes out you may never see it again (think Mercury Mets). Only today did I realize the UNIcorn part of my term.
I already have emailed the guy who introduced me to Mrs. Mets Police to tell him he is on assignment since he lives in Vegas now. (Mrs. Mets Police was not a showgirl).
@mediagoon is on the phone with Jet Blue right now. Goon’s birthday is April Somethingth – someone hook him up.
the “Las Vegas” on the front looks too small. and the number is a little too high on the right side. makes it look fake (though I don’t doubt the team’s twitter feed).
I agree with @dyhrdmet, but that’s a sick concept.
Wish the Mets would go the way of the Braves and use the minor leagues to grow their brand.
