BREAKING: Mrs. Met costume appeared at Citi Field

Mrs. Met has returned! She appeared at an All Star Food event at Citi Field. I was invited (thank you Mets) but I have this whole job thing.

Original developing post below..with updates at the bottom as I get them

And Buy My Book – it’s on sale for $8.99 (or eBook $2.99) – so I can make enough money and just blog about costumed charcaters and uniforms and caps and crowd shots all day. I should have been at this!

  1. Why is she wearing a black dress??? Shouldn’t she at least have a blue and white striped apron?????

  2. I think the black dress is because she was there more as a team representative and not as a rep for one of the concessionaires. She was dressed — and had a nametag — like the other p.r./front-office types. But one person did tell me that she does have a uniform, so we might see her at games soon. (That’s my wife in the last photo; I wrote a little more here.)
