In honor of Franklin Sports 30th Anniversary of its batting glove, the company is hosting private instructional clinics with Major League Baseball stars at ballparks across the country. This week, the New York Mets play host to “Learn From A Pro” program.
Local winners, who were selected through a six month enter-to-win contest, are given the opportunity for exclusive access to the player’s practice areas and an intimate hitting clinic led by Daniel Murphy and Dave Hudgens. The clinic will include how to hold a bat, hit from a tee, the difference bat size and weight makes, batting stances, hitting drills and tips and tricks; plus a Q&A and photo op. Afterwards, each of the winners and a guest are given tickets to watch the New York Mets take on the Atlanta Braves.
