THey have the same photo at the actual Louisville Slugger… I was there last month. Still had to take a picture with it after I got to swing his bat in the cages.
Louisville Slugger is proud to work with over 100 of today’s MLB players, including more All-Stars than any other brand, including David Wright, the face of the 2013 MLB All-Star Game. We send an internal photographer that has MLB credentials out to 10-15 games per season to capture new photography of as many players as possible. Given the sheer number of our contract players, several players switching teams this offseason (i.e. Josh Hamilton) and the addition of several new contract players (i.e. Adam Jones, Justin Upton, Jason Heyward), we chose to prioritize shooting those teams and players this season. We are proud that David Wright is a Met for life and a model representative of Louisville Slugger and chose to continue to use photography we had on hand and look forward to getting new images of him during the 2014 season.
