The other night I was listening to Howie and Josh yet again. I really really like this booth.
We all love Howie, but like any star player, being in a good lineup makes you better. We heard Howie with some of his Sportschannel/FSNY coworkers and he was nowhere as awesome as he is these days. He has been great since taking over the radio gig, but I think he is at another level now beacause of….

It’s a comfortable listen. Two guys who genuinely like each other and who can weave a conversation in and out of a baseball game without forgetting about the baseball game part.
What inspired me to write this was their discussion of Smokey and the Bandit on Monday night. Just a goofy conversation I might have had in the uppers with @mediagoon.
This isn’t my best writing, and I can’t really explain it – but Josh, I dig ya. I hope you’re around for a long long time.
I assume he will be; but it will be very disppointing if he’s not on ESPN, WOR, or wherever they end up in ’14.
