Mets give Collins two-year deal, but one-year mandate | New York Post

So, in actuality, Collins has a two-year contract with a one-year mandate, he is pretty much a lame duck again. There is no way the Mets will try to sell to their fans yet again that a team with seventy-something wins in 2014 should bring back their manager for 2015.

I am going to disagree with this by changing a few words.

The Mets have already somehow jedi mindtricked the fans that 2013 was a successful year.  Supposedly the outfield is good.  Matt Harvey is only out for like two more days.  They will be spending money left and right.  You might as well buy your Choo jersey now!
