STATEMENT FROM THE METS REGARDING MATT HARVEY

Mets RHP Matt Harvey today underwent successful Tommy John surgery to repair a partial tear of the ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow. Dr. James Andrews performed the surgery in Gulf Breeze, Fla.
