Murphy has been booked to play Santa Claus on Dec. 17 at Citi Field, at the Mets’ annual holiday party for local schoolchildren.
Rubin goes on to point out that Mets Santa might mean Murph is on his way out.

Heard Anna Benson’s not available this year. She is, however, playing Mrs. Claus at the rehab facility in Texas where she is reportedly drying out.
