Yes, I do, and it makes me cringe when people talk about what a tremendous job Valentine did “given what he had.” That’s not something anyone should EVER say about a manager with possibly the best defensive infield of all time (all but one of whom were excellent hitters as well) and Mike freakin’ Piazza at his disposal.
