Now it’s on US if the Mets don’t get players?

This is a Captain Kirk logic bomb.  Fans won’t go to games unless the Mets win.  You win with better players.  The Mets will only get better players if the fans come.  The fans will only come if the Mets win.  You win with better players.  Error error logic..

Hmm, we could of course use this logic against them and not go to games.  In which the team could get worse.  So fewer of us could go to games.  So they could spend less.  So fewer of us could go to games.  So they could get worse…
