I find it odd that there is really nothing going on. I know the internet has decided that today’s story will be Mejia vs. Dice-K, but I don’t really care. If the Mets were serious about 90 wins we wouldn’t be talking about either of those guys.
And what is 90 wins anyway? If they get to 90 and don’t make the playoffs does it make it OK somehow that this team missed the playoffs again? Or are things so bad that we’d all sell our souls for an extra 16 wins?
…as I type this I see Flores was sent down. I guess Twitter can be all angry about that.
Well, hopefully Montreal will provide some stories..and a week from today we have the opener. Until then, anyone got any alternate caps to post? I guess I will scour eBay for oddities.
