I thought it was just me/my TV/broadcast inconsistency, so I didn’t bring it up, but now you’ve got me wondering…Has anyone else noticed the blue of the caps seems a little toned down compared to recent years? It’s not quite the dark royal you see in the ’60s pics, but it’s not quite as bright as it has been recently, either. The currently color is closer to that of my franchise cap than my authentic 5950 from the late 90s/early ’00s.
Another possibility is that this is old news and I just missed the memo.
