Many of us have wondered why the Mets would abandon Citi Field in just a few more years to move off-planet.
With the ice caps melting, Citi Field and much of the fanbse disrupted by rising seas, perhaps the Wilpons are modern day O’Malleys and see the potential of new lands. Although given rising temperatures I don’t know why they didn’t consider Montreal.
