The 2014 Mets Season is OVER (Math)

jim very sad

Some numbers for you.

The Mets are playing .440 ball which paces for 71 wins.

Should the Mets go 68-44 in the remaining 112 games, which is .607 baseball, they will finish with 90 wins (which would be .555 baseball)

Should they pull that off, 90 wins (.555 ball) is unlikely to get them that Wild Card spot where Matt Harvey rides in on his white horse and saves the day in the one game do or die.

  1. i had when he does the Math – the cold hard truth of the numbers makes you sick.  stats remind you that miracle runs are the exception.  I will see you in hell pal.
