Wait – the Mets can make tickets 56% cheaper when in the mood?

So tickets CAN BE 56% cheaper when the Mets want them to….but they are only going to do it if Murphy gets a hit and the NL wins.

If Murph doesn’t get a hit then the Mets will just charge you a price they are telling you they apparently can live without.

No pressure Dan.

I know what the Mets tried to do here…but did they was reveal how much their ticket margin is or that they really really like Murph and don’t mind taking a bath on tickets to support him.

The bold below is mine.

If Murphy gets a hit and the NL wins the All-Star Game, the discount rises to 56%.

So…if Murph does not get a hit, tickets will be more than they apparently could be.

If the AL wins, tickets will be more than they apparently could be.

They should actually raise prices 28% if Murph doesn’t get a hit and the AL wins.

  1. metspolice awesome how the press release says “available at CF ticket windows” but the link says “NOT available at CF ticket windows”

  2. metspolice I like the deal you mentioned earlier. No disclaimer requiring certain people to hit on a certain date.
