Yes I baited you with the headline. To be fair, SNY is excellent and is one of the biggest RSN’s in the country.
However, if you read MLB Telecasts On Regional Sports Networks Dominate Prime Time Television you will see a group of teams that are #1 in primetime, then a bunch that are Top 3, and then another group of stations that are in the “Top 9” which seems a weird number and allows that the Mets could be the #4 thing every night.
So why the catty headline…because the Mets need to add some star power to this team? Baseball is a TV show, and the Mets keep putting on a TV show with no stars in it.
