There was rumblings about this earlier in the week but we here and Metspolice wanted to wait until we had confirmation. I searched the inter web thing and found this on Sports Business Daily:
The Mets have parted ways with Senior VP/Ticket Sales & Services LEIGH CASTERGINE, who had worked with the team since ’10. She also has worked in ticketing and sales with the Bruins, Magic and Comcast-Spectacor. A national search is on for her replacement (Terry Lefton, Editor-At-Large).
I liked talking to Leigh when I had the chance. Besides talking to her about the Mets crazy ticket promos (miscues and hits), It was also cool to talk to her about some of the other sports teams that she had worked for in the past. I am going to take a page out of the WWE’s way of saying good luck…Ahem…. We here at MetsPolice.com would like to wish Leigh Castergine well on all her future endeavors.
