Mr. Met parties at village Halloween parade while Mrs. Met hits pumpkin store

Is Mrs. Met just super cool letting Mr. Met go out and party all night by himself? Is he catching some frost at the Met Family kitchen table this morning? Where are the kids? Does the Met Family not give out candy? Are these just two people in costume who had separate media assignments?
