I don’t know, maybe the pony tail tested well amongst focus groups, but Mrs Met should absolutely have a 60s Flip haircut, just as she did when she was created, period. Celebrate the birth-decade of your team and try to do it before Mad Men is over.
I wasn’t there when they announced Mrs. Met but here is a photo of her when she first returned…the hair looks different…no ponytail?
She has her “work hair” which is let down, and her “play” hair in the pony tail.
