Thanks to Peter for pointing this out. I hadn’t noticed since I have given up on my Saturday plan because of the 2014 Pricing Promotions that regularly allowed late-comers into the park for far less than I was paying with my plan.
And I like Saturday night games mid-summer, but not in April and really not in May. Here’s a look at the Saturday schedule. It’s likely partially influenced by television, but it doesn’t make it good.
In 2014 the Mets claimed the results of a fan survey said people like Saturday night games. I expect them to be there on April 18th.
