I went to sleep early and woke up and found out that @mediagoon started selling another shirt via The Sellout Line.  We have named our business that because we want to be crystal clear that we are capitalists and the entire reason we blog and tweet is to try to sell you things so that we can be eccentric millionaire bloggers.  We’re not trying to be noble or have a greater cause.  Nope, buy t-shirts, support our advertisers (and buy ads on our site), and click our affiliate links.  We are complete sellouts.  This blog will be renamed Nike Presents Jeff Wilpon Rules if someone wants to write a check.

Also we continue to strongly support our friend Darren at The 7 Line who has much better shirts than we do.  I personally am buying his The Magic Is Back shirt the second he will let me.

I liked what Paul did. Decided if we sell a few and our openly capitalistic blog makes a few bucks that’s cool.  We sold a few.  Now it’s a new design.  We don’t do the blog for just money but openly like money.

Nope.  Occasionally I will link to the t-shirt at the same rate I tend to post MLB Shop sales or Lids links or whatever.  90% Blog posts with the occasional capitalism.  However, I am not hiding the capitalism.  There’s a current project out there that seems like it has devolved into selling flowers and mugs.  If we sell flowers and mugs we will blatantly tell you we are trying to sell you flowers and mugs or convention tickets and not try to couch it as noble.  Nope.  Capitalists.
