So what’s happening with the Queens Baseball Convention?
Behind the scenes, @mediagoon and I have been discussing it pretty much daily for about a week.
We’re kicking around ideas on how to make it bigger and better.
We’re trying to figure out when it will be, and where it will be (which is not to say we don’t love McFadden’s Citi Field who have hosted us for the first two.)
We’re trying to figure out how to bring in more players.
We’re trying to figure out how to bring in more marketing partners.
And we’re openly even trying to figure out to make more money (this is a capitalist blog that isn’t trying to BS you.)
We’re in Beatles mode, with Goon being the McCartney trying to get me in the studio, and I think I’ve quit the band three times in April alone. (I think he only quit once.) Then the next day I’m bugging everyone to call (famous player you’ve heard of) and writing blog posts about it.
We’ll get there.
