Well, yeah this is why I didn’t get a plan this year. Experience has taught me you are better off waiting.
I cannot fault the Mets for trying to fill their park, but this strategy does seem to chase at least some ticket-plan holders away. I think the solution is to offer the existing plan holders some sort of matching credit toward 2016 tickets or to food or merch. Anyway…
