Now deep down I know the Mets are cheap and will run Murph out of town, but as I say over and over and over (I hear you all saying “We know!”) it makes little sense to me to get rid of a dependable piece that can play second and play third if you know who misses significant time.
You’ve seen the lineup without Murph, and while it is obvious nobody can hit in the majors, apparently it’s not so easy to field in the majors either.
But but but but you guys told me Dilson was awesome and Murph would never play again…….
