I’m always happy to mix in an article about The Formerly New York Giants. I do feel in recent years we have heard more about the Formerlys than the old Brooklyn club, probably because Willie Mays keeps coming home to visit with the World Series trophy in tow. Anyway, click through to Faith and Fear, read Greg’s part and then enjoy the Giants article embedded within the F&F post.
Gary Mintz is the president of the New York Giants Preservation Society and quite the San Francisco Giants fan (not to mention quite the good guy). He never saw the New York Giants play, but he’s made it one of his life’s priorities to preserve their legacy. It all goes back to his dad. I’ll let Gary tell the rest of the story in what he calls An Ode to a Real Giant.
