I mean, which of us didn’t know Justin Turner was an MVP Level player? In a system where you had David Wright at third and a log-jam of Murphy/Flores/Herrera and even New Mazzilli at second, how could you not re-sign Justin Turner?

Agreed. I like Turner, was surprised when we let him go, but never saw him as anything more than a bench player. For whatever reason, Turner figured it out in Los Angeles and is batting third.” There’s a reason “he just needed a change of scenery” is a cliche. Sometimes that really is what people need. Tough to blame Sandy on this one.
