So are we still like boycotting The Wilpons and stuff?

One of the interesting things doing this blog over the years is how I will have some followers (especially on twitter) who are like ALL-IN on the blog and will favorite and retweet everything I say, then all of a sudden I push them over the edge and they hate the blog. (As an example, one tweeter I enjoy was surprised I complained about late start times in the NLDS. That’s just not paying attention to what this site is.)

At its core this blog is just an extension of the crap I would just be emailing Media Goon with anyway (if you’d like, I could start another blog about Star Trek and The Walking Dead, but you’ll just hate that too when he starts in about Well, in the comics…)

I like to ask questions, and sometimes the questions make people mad.  Like this one will.

Today’s question is – what’s The Narrative on The Wilpons this morning.  There had been lots of folks who were boycotting them.  Hey if you went all-in and kept money out of their pocket by not attending games, or not supporting MLBAM (which runs things like NHL’s streaming), or not buying t-shirts (merch revenue goes into the central fund which gets distributed among the owners) then I applaud you.  Not only is that a stand, it’s a hard one to execute.

Then there are the folks who were never going to attend a game again.  Is there a World Series exception?  If so, why?

To bring this back to The Walking Dead, is The Governor not such a bad dude when you’re hungry and the electricity is working, so you don’t mind overlooking his real estate deals?

The place is full. People are willing today over $1000 to visit it.  Merch sales are zooming TV Ratings are up.  Seems like as long as the zombies to get through the walls, everyone is happy here in Woodbury.

Just curious.  I’m sure you’ll get mad at this.  I just want to know, are we still boycotting The Wilpons and stuff?

….

Earlier this week, the dude from The Billboard(s) spoke with Michael Kay. Nice job by both Kay and by Gary representing his position.
