The newbie who took over for Jared Diamond tells us that the Mets are selling more tickets this spring. Must be because of the baby boom. Either that or people weren’t as into the Mets until they made the World Series.
Port St. Lucie, Fla., the Mets’ spring-training home, comes out of hibernation every February when the team comes to town. But now that the Mets are actually good, it is anticipating its best March ever.
