Is Mets Cuz stull doing his blog? Maybe I should bring him back so I don’t have to just post press releases.
Anyways, the Mets now have an Official Chocolate which is great because all those unofficial Mets chocolates were getting confusing. And what’s good is I have this handy image of RA Dickey at the M&Ms store to prop up this post.
M&M’S® JOINS THE METS AS A NEW PARTNER IN 2016
Treat Becomes the ‘Official Chocolate Candy’ of the
New York Mets
FLUSHING, N.Y., May 10, 2016 – M&M’S and the New York Mets announced today a new partnership making M&M’S the official chocolate candy of the New York Mets.
The chocolate brand is taking over the naming rights for the seats directly beyond the left field wall. The “M&M’S Sweet Seats” is a 102 seat all inclusive fan area featuring oversized imagery of the six M&M’S characters. In addition, the M&M’S partnership includes fan photo areas in the ballpark concourse areas and the inclusion of the custom My M&M’S production option for all suite purchasers.
“We are excited to partner with another iconic global brand such as M&M’S” said Vice President, Corporate Partnerships Wes Engram. “Like the Mets, M&M’S have a very loyal fan base, and we look forward to engaging both of our fan bases in the “M&M’S Sweet Seats” at Citi Field for many years to come.”
“M&M’S® has always been the perfect snack to enjoy during special moments with family and friends, whether it be at the movies, a concert, or a day at the ballpark,” said Tanya Berman, Brand Director, M&M’S® Brand. “We’re proud to be the official chocolate candy of the New York Mets and excited to engage with all of their dedicated fans through the Sweet Seats.”
Since 1941, M&M’S are the original fun candy. Probably the most famous candy treat in the world, the bite-sized pieces of chocolate (and peanuts) in a colorful candy shell are instantly recognizable all over the globe. M&M’S celebrated their 75th Anniversary in 2016 and continues to maintain its position as the premier candy product available on the market today.
