Just thought I’d mention, I believe David Wright has not worn an “illegal” (*) orange undershirt this season.
Long-time twitter followers know I am a big fan of MLB Rule 3.03(b) which states ALL players must wear matching undershirts. You may think the rule is silly, but that’s the rule and I didn’t make it.
Anyway, good to see The Captain following the rulebook as a captain should.
As for that asterisk, in a recent Uni Watch I saw Paul Lukas mention that some people use the word illegal and he pointed out that it isn’t quite the correct term. Around here, I like the word as it is just makes it sound funnier than “undershirt in non-compliance of rule 3.03(b)” so Illegal Undershirt it is!
